Rubbish Scarf - Denim Jumble

You loved our original Rubbish Accessory - Rubbish Socks, so we put more left over yarn to use and created Beanie's and Scarves to add to the collection! To make our Rubbish Accessories we collect left-over knitwear pieces from our production runs and cut them into smaller pieces, which we send to our Wellington spinner. There, they are shredded down and given a second life in the form of a new yarn. The recycling process is completely water and dye free. The stunning colours of these unique new yarns are derived from the colours of our offcuts. The resulting one-of-a-kind Beanie is ultra cosy, thanks to the natural fibre blends the offcuts came from. All of this work is helping us move towards our goal of zero textile waste to landfill by 2025.
