Sea Pink Thrift

Considered a California native, these sturdy, dependable, grass-like perennials are good for walkways, borders, and rock gardens. Armeria maritima produces clusters of lovely pink flowers that sit atop 6-10" stems above tufts of narrow, stiff, evergreen leaves. A pom-pom lover's delight! A long-blooming perennial, the flowers appear in spring through early-summer, but removing faded flowers may prolong flowering. Easy to grow, Sea Pink Thrift is tolerant of coastal conditions, and adaptable to a variety of soil types. Bees and Butterflies love this plant.
