Prepare the Clay & Cutter - Roll your clay so it is at least 0.25 mm thicker than the embossing depth of the cutter. This helps ensure the embossed details are transferred without cutting too deeply into the clay. Add a release such as CoolSlip to both the cutting edge and the embossing surface to prevent the clay from sticking. 2. Cut & Emboss - Position the cutter on the clay and press down firmly and evenly. The outer edge will cut your shape while the raised embossing details create the design impression. 3. Dry & Fire - Allow the clay to dry completely, then fire according to the manufacturer’s instructions for your chosen metal clay.
