2025 View of Prague Castle A view of two significant landmarks of Prague – Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Charles Bridge is the oldest standing bridge across the Vltava River. Construction of Charles Bridge was completed in 1402. The bridge is adorned with 30 mostly Baroque statues and sculptural groups. Prague Castle is considered not only a symbol of the city but also of Czech statehood. Its dimensions – 570 metres long and 128 metres wide – make it one of the largest complexes in the world. The castle includes St Vitus Cathedral. The inscription “PRAGUE” appears at the top of the stamp.
