Taznakht amira Telu

Another Taznakht berber rug, all handwoven, all wool, a great piece for indoors. This rug was purchased from an old man on our way back from Ourzazate to Marrakesh. The wool is died with a process that has been traditionally employed by Moroccans. As long as you take care of the carpet, the colors will not visibly fade. This is a magnificent hand-knotted & it is handmade, wool moroccan double-sided carpet or rug created by berber women in the atlas mountains - Morocco. The internal border work is outstanding as is the outside border and the fringe. The colors are rich, vibrant, exquisite and varied.
