Handblown Glass Vase by Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors This very large vase features super solid smokey-blue crystal handblown into a teardrop form with ovoid cavity. The minimal Modernist form is really beautiful. This m odel, known as PU3632, was designed by the renowned Swedish glass artist Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors glassworks in the late ’50s. This piece is in good vintage condition with some expected shelf wear on the underside due to its considerable weight, which is why it is now difficult to distinguish a signature. It has no notches, cracks, repairs or discolouration. This is the large size of two other PU3632 models available.
