Both blades are blackened carbon steel. The Lappland Puukko is the traditional utility knife of the Sami people. Its design has evolved over the centuries into one of the most versatile and functional knives in existence today. This is a solid all-around camp or utility knife, featuring a long, medium-width blade lightly inscribed with the Iisakki Järvenpää signature. The handle is made from curly birch wood, sanded and polished to a smooth finish, and has a flared pommel to prevent the knife from slipping out of your hand.
