Ocular Micrometer

An Ocular Micrometer is a measuring device fitted inside the eyepiece (ocular) of a microscope. It is used to measure the size of microscopic objects with precision. Key features of an Ocular Micrometer: Consists of a small glass disk with a finely divided scale etched onto it. The scale is visible when looking through the microscope eyepiece. Used in conjunction with a stage micrometer for calibration to determine the actual size represented by each division. Enables measurement of lengths, diameters, and distances of microscopic structures. Commonly used in biology, materials science, and medical laboratories for accurate microscopic measurements.
