Note: Glowforge does not recommend using MDF in the Aura or Spark. We have tested the MDF and it cuts well but creates more particulate matter which can raise issues with the filter. Venting outside seems to be fine as well as cleaning the machine after but you can decide if MDF is used in your Spark or Aura Description : American Cherry is known for its stable, straight grain pattern. The close even texture and beauty of Cherry have made it synonymous with fine woodworking projects. Black Cherry develops a rich reddish-brown patina as it ages. You can create the patina look with wood stains. Gel stains are recommended to use with cherry for an even finish.
