Black ‘Melamine’ Type Gloss Coated MDF, 1/4 inch, 12 x 19 inches

But if you have used melamine before, you will find it very comparable. However there is a gloss finish on this material, where the melamine is more of a matte finish. We custom created the material using MDF from New Zealand which we have found to be a very consistent, clean cut. We finish it with a durable smooth coating. It is scratch resistant, easy clean up of burn marks and engraves like a dream. If you like black melamine, you will love this material.
