This exotic wood from South America has many names; Morado, Pau Ferro, Bolivian Rosewood, or Santos Rosewood! The closest wood species we carry to Rosewood is this Pau Ferro. A close match in colour, appearance, and even it's working properties - it's not surprise it often called Santos or Bolivian Rosewood. It is most often used by luthiers or instrument makers but can also be used for flooring or cabinetry.
