Makah Lidded barrel

This is an old Makah barrel shaped basket with three whaling canoes around the body. It has four purple ducks swimming around the top of the lid on a thin red band. The basket has a thin green band below the lid and one above the base and a thin red band below the the whaling canoes. The beargrass body of the basket has darkened with age.
