K18 Pink coral two strand vintage necklace and earrings set

This is a vintage Japanese pink (momo-iro) coral double-strand necklace and earrings set. This is one of the top treasures of my shop. It includes the whole color range of pink coral, from angel skin to persimmon pink, and gorgeous solid 18K gold for the clasp and earrings. The clasp has a carved rose coral cabochon, and the earrings have carved cherry blossom cabochons. All the metal of this set is stamped K18 750. High quality 18 karat gold made in Japan. Pink (momo-iro) coral has been rising in price every year, because it is no longer being harvested. This is a gorgeous hand-knotted necklace. The coral beads have been re-polished and re-strung by a professional jeweler, so the condition is like brand new. Some of the coral beads have cracks. I took pictures of the most noticeable ones. But the cracks are not noticeable when you wear it. This is a relic of the period of Japan’s rapid economic growth.
