30"x79" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Victorian SOLID Wood Wooden Entry Interior Door 5 Panels

Lovely, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door is made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and is painted on both sides. It has a traditional, Victorian style design with 4 vertical, and 1 horizontal raised panels on both sides. When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware : The door is not equipped with hardware . However, w e have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store. * If you would like small recesses for the pulls plugged with solid wood, email us for a quote. Uneven Width : The door's width unevenly cut by 1/4" , and the height by 3/8". The cuts were made most likely to compensate for a warped floor or sagging foundation.
