The first 3 photos show Door#1 and last 4 show Door#2. Beautiful, antique, interior doors salvaged from an old, home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The doors are made of solid Douglas Fir or pine and painted on both sides. They have 5 raised, horizontal, stacked panels on both sides. When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine.
