Bright Leaf Earrings – Flat – Sterling Silver

Same casting as the raised version. Then I took a hammer to them. These leaf-shaped drops are cast in sterling silver from my original designs, then hand-hammered flat — compressing the surface and quieting the texture without losing the character of the original form. From there, the same process as the raised version: depletion gilded through repeated torch-heating and acid-quenching until no more copper rises to the surface, then tumbled for hours to burnish bright. The result is a near-white fine silver finish that stays clean in the raised areas, holds depth in the recesses, and resists tarnishing far better than standard sterling.
