A green trifold that holds its colour Every fold on a trifold is a place where colour can lift. That is fine on the hides where lifting is the point, and it is a problem on a coloured leather — a pale streak through a deep green looks like wear, not character. Dollaro does not do it. The colour sits evenly through the pebble-grained surface and stays there, so the fold, the flap corner and the spine remain the same green as the rest of the cover after a year of daily closing.
