Camel Tan Buttero Leather Trifold Cover

Camel that darkens from the flap inwards On a plain cover, undyed-ish tan darkens wherever your hand happens to land. On a trifold there is no happening about it: the flap is held every time the notebook is opened and closed, so that is where camel Buttero starts going amber. The result is a cover with a gradient built into it. For the first several months the flap and the fore-edge are visibly warmer than the back panel, and the line between them moves as the rest catches up. By the end of the first year it has evened out into a deeper honey than the shade you unwrapped. Camel shows marks — it is a light colour on an uncoated hide, and that is the trade. What you get for it is the most legible ageing of any colour we make in this construction.
