A Cartier Le Baiser du Dragon pendant necklace, introduced in 2003. Translating to “The Dragon’s Kiss”, the collection draws inspiration from Chinese symbolism, blending Eastern cultural motifs with Cartier’s refined Parisian design language. The pendant is crafted in 18k yellow gold, forming a bold geometric interpretation of the dragon - a symbol traditionally associated with strength, wisdom and protection. It is suspended from an adjustable black silk cord, threaded through the centre of the pendant and terminating in two ruby beads. Produced for a relatively short period and no longer part of Cartier’s current collections, pieces from the Le Baiser du Dragon collection are increasingly sought after. Length of 60cm (23 inches).
