The WhisperKOOL Ceiling Mount 4000 Split wine cellar refrigeration system is a great solution for small to medium-sized wine cellars where ventilation is a challenge and compressor noise is a concern. The evaporator can fully recess into the ceiling cavity to virtually disappear - even the face of the unit can be painted to blend with the ceiling colour. A split refrigeration system separates the evaporator from the condenser. The WhisperKOOL Ceiling Mount 4000 Split evaporator is recessed into the ceiling of the wine cellar and the condenser is located within 100 linear feet of the evaporator (outside of the wine cellar). The two units are connected by refrigerant piping and a communication cable for 220V models. Most customers choose to install the condenser unit outdoors to avoid heat or noise transmitting indoors.
