Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, this region produces high quality delicate leaves. These vintage leaves are stored during the picking season to allow them to produce a richer, more multifaceted aromatic flavour. From the master: Darjeeling is in an area in the state of West Bengal which is at the North East of India in the foothills of the Himalayas. Vintage tea is a combination of 1stflush leaves which have been stored and then mixed with leaves from later flushes. The result is a dense and more developed flavour.
