Morris Engel Early Work was published by the Howard Greenberg Gallery on the occasion of a joint exhibit of Morris Engel and Ruth Orkin in 1999. It includes an interview with Julia Van Haaften, and many of his best known photographs are included, such as: Harlem Merchant, Rebecca, Shoeshine Boy and Coney Embrace.
