By lifting your food above the intense charcoal heat, it provides a controlled low-heat area ideal for resting and finishing without overcooking. NOT FOR THE 16" Mini model. (Made for our 24" and 36" model grills only) For 24" Wide Body Grill: The riser kit will work when using the stainless steel rods/bars, or when bringing the grate forward one inch.
