The Allen - Navy Elbamatt (602) Factory Sample

Boot and Leather This is our classic plain toe Allen pattern. The upper leather for this boots comes from the Tempesti tannery with a full vegetable tannage (Vachetta). The Elbamatt article itself is a dense, strong-fiber and raw cut of leather. We ordered these specifically as double butts for our offering of this boot, which is leather cut from both rear sections of the hide. Many fats are left in this leather during the tanning process and the finishing treatment is quite minimal. The end result is a beautiful vegetable tannage with a bit or a raw feeling to the article. Grade 1 - Factory sample made with the aforementioned upper leather. We have been running a few different soles, heels, finishes, patterns and welts during recent sampling. This pair has been tried on once and we do not know yet if this exact makeup will be ran in production. The pair pictured is the pair shipped. Insole Build This boot, along with others beginning their release in the Summer of 2026, will feature our new insole build combination.
