Made-to-order: Build time of 12+ weeks* The rapier began as a lengthy cut-and-thrust sword and evolved into a lighter more specialized thrusting weapon. It was characterized by it's complex hilt and long slender blade. Early rapier designs, such as the lightweight side-ring , were derived from the shorter and heavier side-sword. Our double-ring rapier adds a second larger ring with an optional counter guard to the design for greater hand protection while still remaining light and versatile.
