Four parts. One barbecue that works like it did new. Weber Qs don't die all at once. They go one part at a time, and each failure gets worked around until the workarounds are the way you cook. The Python Burner The part that actually wears out, and the one worth upgrading rather than matching. Weber's burner is a straight tube that heats a line down the middle of the plate. On a Q2 that leaves most of the surface in the gap. The Python loops the perimeter and returns through the centre, so the whole plate gets heat instead of one strip. Original mounting points, five-minute swap. The adjustable LPG regulator and hose Old hose hardens and cracks at the crimps. This replaces it, and adds something the original never had: you set the baseline pressure yourself.
