Rare hand made faceted crystal modernist artwork and vase designed by Helge Spring for Mäntyharjun Lasi Oy , Finland, circa 1968–1971. Signed: Mäntyharjun Lasi Oy. H. Spring. The form recalls the silhouette of a sailboat or crystal , rising upward in a sharp, geometric motion. The angles and planes catch light differently from every side, creating deep reflections and color transitions within the thick amethyst glass. Rare find.
