Hydrocharis Morsus Ranae | Frogbit Hydrocharis Morsus Ranae, commonly known as Frogbit, is a pretty little native plant with small kidney-shaped, bright green leaves and very small white flowers. Frogbit is a summer plant that can tolerate dense shade, allow frogbit to die back naturally in the autumn, as small buds are formed which fall off and sink to the bottom while the old plant rots away. These winter buds remain on the bottom to rise again in the spring to form new plants. Where do you plant floating pond plants?
