This sheet is handmade in Bhutan from a Bhutanese variation of the Lokta plant, grown high in the Himalayas. It has a distinctive watermark repeated all over the sheet except for a 30mm plain border all around It is a sustainable source of raw material with a harvest taking place every 3-4 years.
