Big Holes Made Easy This large garden auger drill bit comes with an adaptable drive and fits auger powerheads (gas-powered engines) with a 1-inch shaft. It will fit ½-in drills. It will fit any 1/2-inch drill chuck – or larger drill chucks – with the use of the hex adapter included with this purchase. In addition, the auger bit will fit any drill with a threaded end when purchased with a threaded adapter (sold separately) or quick change adapter for any 7/16″ quick change drill.
