Vintage Balinese Resting Deer Sculpture - 26" H X 26" L X 7.5" W

Very unique original vintage Balinese seated deer sculpture hand carved from a single piece of dense wood, intricately painted with a base coat of grey, and adorned with real antlers. Other colors include white, gold, green and red. The body contains a hidden compartment accessible by sliding the top piece decoration off of the back. Pieces of this age and detail are extremely hard to find. It would add a pop of color and sculptural interest to a variety of interior spaces from a great room or study across a range of décor themes spanning Zen, Asian-Inspired... to Boho or Contemporary.
