Two vintage Quinua terracotta Peruvian folk-art figurines of musicians (bottles) by Mamerto Sanchez Cardenas from the Central Highlands. These pieces are effigy pots - one in the shape of a flute player, the other a guitar player and both being in immaculate condition great for collectors. They were handmade in the 1950s and painted with natural pigments which would complement a variety of interiors with neutral beige, black, brown and white palette. Well-constructed, impactful and free standing. Place of Origin: Ayacucho (Central Highlands), Peru Date of Manufacture: 1950s - 1960s Condition: Excellent Wear: Consistent with age.
