Vintage 1940s Jacket Blouse Patriotic Blue Red Suede Belt UK XS/S

An extraordinary vintage 1940s blouse or jacket, very cleverly styled & meticulously home made from medium-weight rayon fabric in royal blue. It has a V neck, short sleeves & asymmetrical panels on the right hand side with slots through which the integral red suede belt is fed; the belt & the front fasten with self-covered buttons with contrasting red backs & embellished with suede knots. The inside seams are finished with light blue bias binding, & the garment has a very wartime, patriotic look. Please study the photographs carefully - they form an important part of the description.
