Original 1930s Vintage Dicky Sleeveless Blouse Deco UK XS/S

A really beautiful vintage 1930s sleeveless dicky or blouse front, made from fine, sheer gauzy fabric with a floral print in lime green, raspberry, brown & off-white & a net back - I'm not sure of the fibre contents. It has a round neck with popper fastening at the back, pleated jabot or ruffle on the front, & elastic at the hem. Size: Suggested XS/S (Shown on a mannequin with a 34" bust) Please check measurements below All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate (with approx. metric equivalent): Bust: 18 1/2" (47cm) Waist (elasticated): 11 1/2" - 16" (29.3m - 40.6cm) Neck corcumference: 12 3/4" (32.3cm) Shoulder to shoulder: 12 1/2" (31.8cm) Arm opening: 8 1/2" (21.6cm) Length nape to hem: 18 1/2" (43.2 cm) Condition: In very good condition overall - there are a few scattered tiny faint spots on the front - some brownish foxing marks on the turnings/edges of the net part (probably due to being starching or similar during manufacture) - some wear & fraying around the hem.
