Rare Original 1930s Dress Novelty Dark Floral Print Handmade Silk UK XS

A rare vintage c.late 1930s handmade silk dress with a charming rural printed design featuring trees, flowers & a gate in dusky pink, red, light green, blue & white against a black background. The dress has a round neckline with gathers, bracelet length sleeves, & matching waist belt; The 4 gore skirt is intentionally slim hipped with a centre pleat at the front & back allowing it to flare towards the hem. The side opening has a replacement vintage metal zip fastening. Please study the photographs carefully - they form an important part of the description.
