Superb Original 1930s 2 Piece Suit Jacket Skirt Deco UK XS

A delightful vintage 1930s 2-piece summer suit, home made from a slightly slubby homespun style linen or perhaps linen/rayon fabric in a variegated natural beige colour with a woven pattern of broken wiggly vertical stripes in red, green & blue. The jacket has a large rounded collar, short raglan sleeves with vents, side panels with inset pockets on the bodice front & waist seam with pleats above on the back; the front fastens with 6 black/brown chunky, faceted early plastic buttons in bound buttonholes with a popper at the top. The skirt is a slim, straight style with 2 pleats at the front & a plain back; it fastens at the side with poppers & a hook & eye. NB. The belt in the photos is NOT included & is not for sale.
