Original Vintage 1950s St. Michael Circle Skirt Paisley Printed Cotton Novelty Print UK S/M

A vintage 1950s circle skirt from St. Michael (i.e. Marks & Spencer), made from fine cotton poplin fabric with a multicoloured paisley print on a blue background. It has two gores, with a slash pocket set into the right side seam & fastens on the left with a painted metal 'Lightning' zip & a button on the waistband. Please study the photographs carefully - they form an important part of the description. Size: Suggested UK S/M (please check measurements below) All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate (with approx. metric equivalent): Waist approx.: 14" (35.5 cm) Hips: free Length: 25" (63.5 cm) Condition: In very good used condition - there is a hard-to-see small seamed repair on the centre front, about 9" up from the hem (see last photo) - the waistband button has been moved slightly to enlarge the waist.
