iittala Toikka Barn Owl

BIG-eyed Barn Owl is one of renowned Finnish designer Oiva Toikka's most idiosyncratic birds. Great colors, too: orange eyes and body colors include orange, brown, tan and blue. (We love this bird.) Originally introduced in 1996, this bird was retired for many years and is now back in production. All of the Toikka birds are highly collected, individually made, mouth-blown pieces of art. Each bird is handmade at iittala's factory in Finland by master glassblowers.
