Ceramic Flower Lettuce Purple Medium

A gift for a daughter in law should thread a needle between thoughtful and safe, and Ceramic Flower Lettuce Purple Medium threads it by simply being strange enough to be memorable. It belongs to the same ruffled-lettuce design family as several other Chive pieces, though this particular run of ten colorways and three sizes rarely produces anything quite this purple or quite this medium. It resembles less a flower than a garnish a very particular chef might add to a plate and refuse to explain. Every piece is still shaped and finished by hand in small batches at the studio, ruffle by uneven ruffle.
